Quality

Working on international projects with international teams also offers advantages for smaller projects on a national scale. As a Swiss company we are working according to Swiss quality standards, though at prices that are very competitive at international level.

For each project we diligently ensure your team benefits from the right skills and expertise enabling highest quality.

Some people limit quality assurance in mobile development to following standards in both programming and testing. In our opinion, the quality of a mobile app is in addition considerably affected by the process of how the product strategy is defined. This is why we put a strong emphasis in initial workshops. As the mobile space evolves and the app stores gain in size, the importance of viable, well thought out mobile apps is only the beginning. When the app is not offering a clear value to the user, the app would be quickly uninstalled after a first unsatisfying user experience.

When it comes to development we can achieve a high coding quality first by selecting the people with the right skills and experience for your project, but secondly by the way we work together. Following the Agile/Scrum methodology has proven very valuable for ensuring high quality. Working with international teams represents both an opportunity and a challenge. It offers the opportunity to develop apps at competitive prices for global markets. But the teams need to be professionally managed, particularly when different time zones are involved.

Proper testing must take into account the functionality, security, performance, compatibility and usability of mobile applications. The need for speed urges developers to rush delivery and often leaves little space for proper testing. That could possibly lead to a negative user experience particularly on certain devices which have been poorly tested. Today there are so many devices out there on so many operating systems, more than in the web space. In addition, the mobile space still lacks proper testing standards and tools. Therefore, it is not possible to test all constellations. However, our 80/20 approach ensures that all most used devices/systems are covered at reasonable costs.
